Email #17: I Heard It From The Grapevine

Dear <firstname> ,
Have you ever wondered what
sort of steak restaurant to have a
nice romantic dinner in and you
suddenly remembered what a
friend recommended about a
pasta cafe down the road?

Well you ended up going there,
didn't you? That's the power of
the grapevine, or word of mouth.

This method of promoting some
thing fantastic is not new, in fact
it has been around since the dawn
of civilization. But what you need
to know is who should you talk
to and get advice from regarding
this?

One way is to hang out with like
minded business owners for drinks
or dinner or maybe attend workshops
and seminars which these people
often go to.

Ask them casually about service
providers that they've used before.
They are bound to recommend the
good, the bad and the downright ugly.

Take note of the names of these
companies or individuals. Actually,
if they did a good job, your acquaintances
will probably be more than happy to
forward you their contacts.

The next method of seeking out
good freelancers is so simple, you'll
probably pull your hair out once I
mention it!

To your successful outsourcing,
